• Ministry of Sound – Clubbers Guide to 2010

We just finished creating a new triple CD release for Ministry of Sound, album artwork, digipack, and motion.  A wonderfully creative process and one which brings together a lot of our passions and ambitions for 2010.

And this was our second-choice paper-cutout piece for the cover… we were in love with this piece for a while, but finally separated our attachment to it after realizing that the option above had more kick and legibility on the shelves.

  • Iso-Lion

Taking our isometric experiments to the next level – hand-drawn, pieced together as cut-outs, layered up and photographed by Michael Creagh.  Nice.

  • Hoisting The Flag

We’ve been working closely with our friends at Profero over the last few months and as a result of some heavy drinking we came up a gorgeous idea. Wayne & Scott at Profero dreamed of having a big f*** off flag hanging on 5th avenue NYC, and we dreamed of designing it for them.  Nuff said.

On Thursday last week a crowd of us gathered to help hoist the Profero flag high above their 5th Avenue office, and in full view of the FlatIron building.  This beautiful creation is going to be in countless thousands of holiday snaps for however long it is until we design a new flag for Profero.

Conveniently, there was a wet patch of concrete directly underneath the flag, and we all got our names (and Modo’s face) permanently etched on the NYC landscape in more ways than one.

  • Eye Scream

    Ice-cream

Here’s the latest in our Vault49 series of isometric experiments, Eye Scream.

What’s we’re really enjoying about the last 12 month’s creations is that it’s difficult to pin us down to a style of work, yet everything still feels distinct and individual. Clients such as Blackberry, Bacardi, Radioshack, Pathe, and the NHL (to name a few) have all recently come to Vault49 precisely because they had an expansive campaign, but didn’t want to be tied down to a particular style or look.  It’s a lot more fun to be slippery creative eels, because you never know what each day will bring…

  • Profero Flag proof

I just popped by Duggal to check out the proof of Vault49’s flag for Profero’s 5th Avenue offices, and it’s looking pretty sweet!  A bit light on the black methinks, but easily fixed.

Profero commissioned one of our new isometric designs, and I think we’ve done them proud with a sexy image full of lots of NYC/Profero details.  Both Vault49 and Profero overlook Madison Park, and for those of you who know the area see if you can spot Shake Shack in there (and a burger of course!)

  • ‘A’ is for Acid

A sick puppy!  We’re really enjoying these new experiments – go on, ‘av some…

  • ISO-SNEAK

Loving this – another in the series… look for the detail.

  • Vault49 Isometric Logo

I’m not sure everyone’s ready for this yet, but your kids are gonna love it!
