• Got Milk

We’ve had the pleasure of working closely with the Got Milk creative team over at DraftFCB lately, and they have to rank as one of the most creative (and friendliest) agency teams around.

Here is one of the executions we created for them, with crafted typography, photography, vector graphics, and CGI milk flow.  Another great studio project utilizing a range of talent within our team.

  • Hyundai – The Making of (video)

Here’s how we composed the Hyundai art, piece by piece, layer by layer.  OK, this is speeded up quite a bit… it took ages!

  • Maxim cut-out

Maxim are a good bunch.  We did this fun cut-out piece last week, reflecting all the quirky qualities of 8 different countries… if you think you live in a shit-hole, take a look at these other countries.  You kinda need the full article to appreciate all the little digs and associate each country to their icons, but all the more reason to go and buy a copy, eh!?  Oh, and yes that is Joan Rivers head on a dogfish body.  How many studios get that written into their brief .

  • Vault49 for Yahoo! Internet week

We just updated the Vault49 site with some fun pics of our Yahoo installation.  Just over three weeks to conceive, design, produce, build, install, paint…. and then up for just one week!  It’s been a wonderful, if crazy, few weeks.  This was a lot of fun – more please.

  • Hyundai: Oh Ranger!

A month or two back we produced this insane map for Hyundai, and its now ready for release.  Pretty crazy. Take a look for all the detail, including the laser cut topography, gravel shoreline and roads, matchstick camp fire, and hand-drawn elements.  Of course, all of this was created painstakenly by hand and photographed in our studio.  We’ve got hours of video footage to edit down showing the construction which we’ll try and get around to soon…

  • Aye Aye

Remember when you first started learning Photoshop and the first thing you did was make a photo of someone you know look like a giraffe, or something more rude?  Well it’s still just as funny when you’re doing it for a client… here’s a snippet of a seal we’re retouching for a radio station.  Guaranteed to bring a smile to your morning…

  • Yahoo! Internet Week

From microscopic detail that only the eagle-eyed can enjoy, to colossal pieces of art that can be seen from OUTER SPACE.  Oh what fun can be had on a holiday weekend.  Vault49 are working with Yahoo! to design, direct, and produce a series of installations across a 6,000 sq ft area of event space in the heart of New York city.  The pictures below show some of the Vault49/WARS team bringing designs to life at our production studio in Queens.
