Human truth.
Brand impact.

Life is beautiful. People are complex. But if you listen closely enough, simple human truths are always there.

That is where our work begins. We build, innovate, and design brands that thrive in culture.

Vault49 founders John Glasgow and Jonathan Kenyon

Built at street level.

Before Vault49 was a brand and innovation agency, it was a street art collective founded by Jonathan Kenyon and John Glasgow.

Before that, it was a house: 49 Addington Square in London, where we lived, worked, and kept the posters and paint. The name came from that address, and from the vault itself: a literal cupboard under the stairs.

The work was always made for real people to enjoy and be inspired by. Local, large-scale, and impossible to ignore. Twenty-five years later, that beginning still shapes us. The same spirit and street-smarts remain, as does the belief that culture is understood by getting close to people, not standing apart from them.

Taking us forward

Vault49 is led by passionate people who stay close to the work.

Strategy, creative, and client partnership all sit at the same table, with the same standard: to build brands with truth, craft, and cultural intelligence.

Independent

Independent since 2002. Independent for good. Independent for more than 24 years. Independent for life.

Our initiatives

Creativity thrives when it's accessible to all. Our founders understand from experience how hard it is to get a seat at the table.

Now our whole team works on behalf of underrepresented voices and nurtures emerging talent to open doors that are closed for too many.

Vault49 proudly co-founded and leads THE SWAP, a creative exchange program empowering young talent from underrepresented backgrounds.

THE SWAP brings together high school and university students from two global cities for a two-week creative collaboration, one week in each city, equipping them with skills, confidence, and industry insights.

Through partnerships with Ravensbourne University, the Obama Foundation's My Brother's Keeper, Champs Mentoring, the Shawn Carter Foundation, Nike, Nestlé, and more, THE SWAP opens doors to creative careers.
