Vault49 has named Spencer Ryan as Chief Executive Officer, marking a new chapter for the studio, and the first time the founders have formally appointed a CEO.
Spencer’s journey at Vault49 spans over seven years, growing from Creative Services Director to Partner and Head of Global Operations. Along the way, she helped build and scale the operational foundation and ways of working that power the agency today. Her leadership has been instrumental in shaping how the agency runs, bringing clarity, structure, and a people-first approach to a fast-moving creative environment.
Stepping into the CEO role, Spencer brings a deep understanding of both the business and the culture that shape Vault49, having already played a central role in leading its day-to-day operations.
With a background across design, technology, and business, Spencer brings a balance of creative thinking and operational clarity to the role. Her leadership is grounded in a belief that the strongest ideas come from contrast, and that meaningful work happens when diverse perspectives meet with purpose.
