We were proud to support the launch of a brand-new online shopping service from Jet.com, bringing you extraordinary choice at everyday low prices. The objective at launch was to ensure that everyone knew about Jet.com’s mind-blowing deals. And who better to deliver mind-blowing creative to match?
Working with RG/A, Vault49 were briefed to bring to life the OOH launch advertising campaign for the revolutionary new online shopping service from Jet.com. The creative concept centered around the dual price & range proposition with a focus on ‘mind-blowing’ deals.
RG/A provided the campaign characters for our artists to bring to life via CGI. Each of the heads needed to appear to have ‘exploded’ when faced with the sheer amount of choice and great prices available to them from Jet.com.
The team had the tricky task of making sure the heads were neither too gruesome and real on one hand, nor too cartoony on the other. Moreover, the client didn’t want to actually feature the words ‘mind blowing’ in the campaign, so the imagery had to work hard to ensure that the concept was immediately grasped.
After creating the initial sketches and attending the photo-shoot for each character the final visuals were a mixture of photography, CGI and Vector formats.
Real excitement and interest was generated during the launch at Penn Station New York City, which was part of a nationwide campaign encompassing Press, TV and Radio.
